Interested in becoming a Catholic?
We have a process for helping you decide whether you'd like to become a Catholic - we call this process the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). RCIA is the process through which interested adults and older children are gradually introduced to the Roman Catholic faith and way of life.
The RCIA is a communal process and involves a number of stages punctuated by liturgical rites to aid and assist you toward the final rite, usually at the Easter Vigil, at which time you will become a full member of the Roman Catholic Church. The entire process takes several months, but participants are generally invited to proceed at a pace which suits them individually.

If I Begin, Am I Obligated to Become a Catholic?
There's no obligation to make any sort of commitment, and no pressure is going to be put on you by anyone at the parish. We want to respect your decision to think about beginning the process of becoming a Catholic, and we want to help you understand everything about the faith that you would be embracing. By attending our RCIA classes, we hope that you'll gain a deeper undersanding and appreciation of Catholic beliefs and practices.
